A free postal entry is available for every competition we run, in accordance with UK competition law.
No purchase necessary
A free postal entry route is available for every competition. Free entries go into the same draw as paid entries with exactly the same chance of winning. Where a competition has a skill question, a correct answer is still required.
How to enter by post

Write your details on an unenclosed postcard
Include your full name, home address, date of birth, email address and phone number.

Add the competition name
Write the exact name of the competition you want to enter. If that competition's page shows a skill question, add your answer - entries without a correct answer can't be entered into the draw.

Post it to our free entry address
Send your entry, with the correct postage, to: 28 Main Street dg73au

One entry per envelope
One entry per person, per competition, per envelope. Multiple entries in one envelope will be disqualified. Post a separate envelope for each competition you want to enter.

Allow time for delivery
Postal entries must arrive at least 3 days before the advertised draw date. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt, and we cannot accept responsibility for entries lost or delayed in the post.
Frequently asked questions
Are my chances the same as someone who paid for tickets?
Yes. Every valid postal entry is given a ticket number and entered into the same draw as paid entries. The draw does not distinguish between paid and free entries.
Do I need to buy anything to enter?
No. The free postal entry route means no purchase is necessary.
Do I need to answer a skill question?
Only if the competition has one. It's shown on that competition's page.
Can I enter more than one competition by post?
Yes. Post a separate envelope for each competition you want to enter.
How will I know if I've won?
We will contact you using the email address and phone number on your postal entry, so please write them clearly.
What if my entry arrives late?
Entries that arrive less than 3 days before the draw date cannot be included. Please post well in advance.
Free entry terms
1. Free entry for everyone
You can enter every paid competition run by Cosmic Comps for free by post. No purchase is necessary. A free entry has exactly the same chance of winning as a paid entry: it gets a ticket number from the same pool and goes into the same draw.

2. How to enter by post
Write clearly on a postcard, or on a plain piece of paper in an envelope:
- your full name and home address;
- your date of birth (you must be 18 or over);
- your email address and phone number;
- the name of the competition you'd like to enter; and
- your answer to the competition's question, if it has one.
Send it with the correct postage, by first or second class post, to: 28 Main Street dg73au.
3. When it needs to reach us
Your entry must reach us at least 3 days before the competition's draw date. We recommend first class post and posting well in advance, as proof of posting isn't proof that we received it, and we can't be responsible for post that is lost or delayed.
A postal entry can't be entered once every ticket in the competition has been allocated.
4. Fair use
- One entry per postcard or envelope. If more than one entry is sent in the same postcard or envelope, it counts as one entry.
- The per-person ticket limit on the competition page applies to free entries too.
- Entries must be sent by the entrant. Bulk entries, entries made on someone else's behalf, and entries produced by automated means aren't accepted.
- Incomplete or illegible entries can't be entered.
5. The question
If the competition has a question, your free entry needs the correct answer to go into the draw, just as a paid entry does. The question is shown on the competition page.
6. Your ticket and the draw
Once we've received a valid entry in time, we allocate it a ticket number and enter it into the draw on the same basis as paid entries. If you included your email address, we'll let you know your ticket number.
7. If you win
We'll contact you using the details on your entry, so please write them clearly. If we can't reach you, or you don't reply within the time set out in our Terms and Conditions, we may draw a new winner.
8. Your information
We use the details on your postal entry to enter you into the competition and contact you if you win, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
