Cookie Policy

Cookies are small files a website saves on your device. Websites can also store information in your browser in similar ways (such as "local storage"). This policy explains what Cosmic Comps's website uses, and how you can control it.

These are needed for the website to work, so they don't need your consent:

• Signing in: keeps you signed in to your account securely as you move around the site.
• Your cookie choices: remembers whether you've accepted analytics or marketing cookies (kept for a year).
• Refer a friend: if you arrive through a friend's link, remembers it for 30 days so they get credit when you join.
• Your basket and settings: your browser keeps your basket and small preferences, such as whether game sounds are on and whether you've already seen a pop-up.
• Notifications: if you turn on notifications, your browser keeps a small script from us (a "service worker") that shows them. It doesn't track you or store your browsing, and turning notifications off stops them.

If we use analytics, such as Google Analytics, these cookies help us understand how visitors use the website so we can improve it. They're only set if you accept analytics cookies.

If we advertise on social media, such as with the Meta (Facebook) pixel, these cookies help us measure our adverts and show them to people who might be interested. They're only set if you accept marketing cookies.

• Security checks: some of our forms may use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots.
• Videos: YouTube videos on our site use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode and only load when you press play.
• Payments: when you pay, you may be taken to our payment provider's secure page, which uses its own cookies.

We count visits to our pages without cookies. See "Counting visits without cookies" in our Privacy Policy.

You can accept or reject analytics and marketing cookies when you first visit, and change your mind at any time using the cookie settings link on our website. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings, though signing in and your basket need them to work.

We'll update this policy if the cookies we use change. The latest version is always on this page.
